Touched by the Wind
Touched by the Wind
The thought of you surrounds me.
I see your face before my eyes,
Although I know it’s visual lies.
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there
Like being touched by the wind.
The thought of you surrounds me.
I hear your voice call my name,
Surely, I’ve not gone insane.
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there
Like being touched by the wind.
The thought of you surrounds me.
I taste your kiss upon my lips,
Creating longing within my hips.
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there
Like being touched by the wind.
The thought of you surrounds me.
Breathing in the scent of you,
Mixed when one is made from two.
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there
Like being touched by the wind.
The thought of you surrounds me.
Warmth engulfs my naked skin,
You’re lying here taking me in.
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there.
Like being touched by the wind.
The thought of you surrounds me.
Your spirit springs forth everywhere
I feel you ‘though there’s no one there.
Like being touched by the wind.
