The Painter’s Back

The Painter’s Back

Looking at the peak of fall,

Spreading o’er all the land,

There’s no doubt to it at all

The painter is God’s hand.

First, we see a splash of red

Tipping trees of green.

Colors splatter over head

Painting Master’s scene.

Spots of yellow dot the earth,

Brushed between the stately pine.

Golden tips to show it’s worth

Created in the Maker’s mind.

Strokes of orange, maroon and brown,

Add chartreuse, crimson, black.

Painted leaves caress the ground.

Look out, World!  The Painter’s back.
