Seasons
Seasons
Fall begins with nippy nights,
The oak leaves, still, are holding tight.
Maples–yellow, orange and red,
Convincing us that they are dead.
But, they prepare for Winter’s peace,
Preparing for the Spring’s release.
Reproducing leaves and seeds,
Fulfilling all of human needs.
I wonder how the trees all know
That Summer is the time to grow?
Then bringing nippy nights of Fall
And welcomed rest for one and all.
